I've a problem to save config file because of read file only on .emuclient/config/...
I maid my config on gimxconfig and when i want to save it i click on battlefield2badcompany.xml or i create a new .xml and their is no save on this directory.
I've search about this problem on forum and I havent find a response.
Thanx in advance.

I'm using 11.10 on a Live USB and have come across this a lot, along with other weirdness. I've had this directory locked, The sixemu lockfile not deleted and locked, and needing a password at boot (not "ubuntu"). Trying to change permissions just makes things worse, and I usually just reinstall and try to keep things clean.

Don't know if you're using a live version, but that's my experience. Thinking of trying Mint or Lubuntu to see if things improve.

Are you sure you didn't mess something using root (sudo) user rights?

I'm a noob in ubuntu ;) so i don't now how i've installed gimx, i probably made a mistake because the .emuclient directory in my home is a property of root, and I had to change the property to my user to have access in write in this directory for save config files :( .
But now its work fine.
