I'm quite busy at my new job but hopefully this weekend I'll get time to do the DIY USB to PS3 adapter for dummies tutorial.

Also made a compact version today, including a reset button for flashing. Had to desolder the headers on the CP2102 first. Total cost around 13€. I made this one for a friend so decided to make it a bit prettier and less crooked than the first iteration.

I put a little piece of a zip tie inbetween as a spacer to make the two chips sort of parallel.

Pretty happy with the result. You don't need tiny hands to build tiny things, just the correct tools for the job and a little bit of patience.
