Mouse and keyboard help

I mainly use the gimx to connect my DFGT wheel to my PS4, which works great, no problems there.
But i thought id try to use Mouse and Keyboard in BF1. I got a config and tried.
it starts off ok, i can browse the PS4 menus. I click BF1 and the game starts to load, as it gets to the part where it says "press any button to continue" or something like that i get another message saying "controller has been disconnected" and none of the buttons work.
I then have to press the PS button on the keyboard and it takes me back to the dashboard, if i then try to enter the game again it disconnects again.

Any idea why its doing that?

Your adapter probably runs the EMUG29PS4 firmware, that emulates a G29, and that cannot be used as an input device with BF1.

One other thing, is it OK to keep swapping firmware as and when I use the keyboard or wheel?

It can be reprogrammed 10000 times. This should be enough
