@Matlo thanks. I'd like to leave some positive feedback. Also I want to make an adapter myself for a friend. I have a arduino pro micro already. Will this ttl adapter work along with it?

Hello,
I split the topic because the next question was quite different from the first one.

Here is the arduino an the ttl adapter. I've read the diy adapter wiki but am confused on what needs to be soldered together. Also what do i need to flash? The arduino? Ttl adapter? Or both?

Re: Will this TTL adapter work?
SOMETHINGS WRONG. I put the adapter together last night an it was working fine. i used it for a while last night with no issues, an today i also used it for a little bit with no problems. I recently tried to start up gimx with the diy adapter an was met with an error. it also stated gimx ran less than five seconds. if that helps. i tried using my GIMX store bought adapter an everything works as it should.

Re: Will this TTL adapter work?
Checked continuity between the arduino an ttl adapter an everything is fine. Connections are solid, using legs an jumper cables. Still failing to start sometimes. I get it working after a few failed attempts. An when it works it works until stopping it without any error.
