Hi guys!

As far as I know xbox one controllers should work without any issues on xbox series X/S. I'm wondering.. so GIMX should work without any issues on Xbox series X out of the box on xbox firmware, is that correct?

Hi

In theory it should work but we wont know until someone does a test. It will all depend if they did something with the controller authentication as newer firmware updates caused GIMX to stop working when you get to the point where you have to press the guide button. Just don't update the controller you want to use past the compatible firmware.

So theoretically if I'm using older xbox one controller that worked fine on xbox one s then it should work as well on xbox series x. Am I right?

It should work unless they require an update to the controller firmware for it to work on the X/S series. I will definitely be holding thumbs for you if you are in a position to test it and looking forward to your feedback
