Help with connecting GIMX via the STM32 card to the PS4

Post by Igor »

Good time of day. Please tell me how to properly connect the GEMIX adapter to the PS4. I have a steering wheel based on STM32 and pedals based on ARDUINO LEONARDO. What firmware do I need to download and what settings do I need to make? Thank you in advance.

You need to update firmware "G29PS4" for your gimx adapter.
About config, you need to configure yourself due to specific setup you got. It is so easy to bind button one by one ;)

I updated to this version of the firmware as well. He writes that he does not see the steering wheel of the G29. Maybe you need to install the driver for G29 on your PC?

Of course you need to install G29 driving software too - Logitech Ghub for now.

I flashed the arduino on "G29PS4", installed Ghub, but there are no devices in it. When connecting, dmx writes an error that the G29 usb was not found. What could be the problem?

After flashing firmware, you need to create a new config due to your setup. Choose type is G29 and mapping button for all buttons you got.

The guide for your use case is there: https://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=Gu ... eringWheel

As kaiba_seto2004 said, you have to create a new config since your hardware is specific. Open gimx-config, define all button mappings in the Button tab, all axis mappings (wheel, pedals) in the Axis tab, and save your config. Select this config in gimx-launcher.
