This is so strange, i am doing everything you are doing and my screen on the drivehub says g27 too. When you open the ps menu in the controller tab, do you see a wheel in that tab? or does it just say controller? Also in gt7 menu settings>controllers>steering control settings. What does your wheel say it is in that menu? Mine says Thrustmaster TGT...corporatezombi wrote: ↑Fri Jun 16, 2023 9:43 amThat is weird! If the GIMX firmware is EMUG27 , like mine is, the drivehub should recognize it as G 2 7 on the display, mine goes from the figure 8 of race mode to showing G 2 7 then 0 on the display.
Then in gimx-config I've used G27 PS3 mode. When assigning all the buttons and wheel axes etc.
Then I use g29 wheel option inside Gran Turismo 7, and I get force feedback on my wheel.
Let me know if that helps! Maybe re-flash the GIMX to make sure that it is flashed with EMUG27.hex
I note that you have to quit and reload GT7 if the playstation goes into sleep mode, because force feedback is lost if the playstation 5 goes to sleep.
I also start the PS5 with the power button on the console.
Then start gimx launcher program on the PC
With the correct config selected on the launcher
Then press start on the Gimx launcher
Then drive hub displays G 2 7 0 G 2 7 0
Then I can log in on the playstation using my wheels buttons
then I can load Gran Turismo 7 on the playstation 5
Confirmation on what's needed for PS5 GT7 please

Re: Confirmation on what's needed for PS5 GT7 please
Awesome just seen this thread got some responses, many thanks, I may indeed go ahead and get a Drivehub then. Currently I have a second rig on the living room (GT Omega Titan with Logitech G Pro), which is just ridiculous. It's nice that works out the box, but I will take a bit of faff to be able to sell that and free up some space.
I guess my only concern now is the quality of FFB on a GIMX+Drivehub with Simucube setup compared to native G Pro wheel. I'm sure the G Pro would be better in this instance, but as long as the Simucube wouldn't be absolutely awful I'd be happy really.

What FFB settings are you all using in GIMX Config and GT7 please?
Do you find you have a small centre dead zone? I can basically feel a notch when I go either way past 0 degrees.

Hi Zero7159, are you able to share what exactly is your setup to make the Accuforce v2 work with PS4. I have Accuforce v2 + Fanatec v3 pedals. What adapters do I need to buy to make it work with PS4 and play GT7? Was the FFB tolerable? Thank you!
Re: Confirmation on what's needed for PS5 GT7 please
I am now running my Accuforce with HE Sprint pedals and Fanatec Clubsport shifter on my PS5 in GT7 using GIMX and Drivehub, with the Hori Mini Controller. Works great, but I am still dialing in the FFB.

I’ll be following this. Still playing GT7 on a ps4 right now but would be nice to know I can upgrade and still have everything work.

Does anyone know what the hurdle is to make gimx emulate a Fanatec DD wheel? That would transform the force feedback from a belt driven G27 to a DD output.
I’m using the Simucube 2 Pro with gimx and drive hub and used the “start + select” hack to switch drive hub to fanatec mode. But it’s still emulating a belt driven wheel.
Or is this a Drive Hub problem and they have to make us chose what mode we want? I’m a noob in this stuff hence why my question.
