Could your antivirus cause these issues? Try to disable it for a short period and check if the issue still occurs. If it's the issue, try to whitelist the gimx files.

To answer your questions, Antivirus was not catching GIMX. Controller type was the issue. Somehow when I updated my GIMX version, it switched my PS4 config to a PS3 controller type.

So as for the weirdness, the crashes stopped. Since updating to 3.4, all I have done is installed XCOM as well as update BoxSync and Overwolf. I also had some windows updates which I listed. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it, but everything seems to be back to normal for now. I'll continue testing and we'll see what happens.
