There is almost no change in the new 5.0 firmware.
Could you please double check that it doesn't work?

Ok after having spent several hours figuring out what worked and what doesn't work in my case is that gimx 4.3 with PS3/PS4 firmware 5.0 works, then after upgrading to gimx 5.0, PS3 firmware 5.0 works but not PS4 firmware 5.0. I get

detected usb adapter:ds4
libusb_init: entity not found
no controller was found on the usb buses
adapter_detect failed

when using gimx5/ps4-5. Tested on PS3/PS4

Thanks for your tests. I'll investigate on this.

Hi,
Could you please open a cmd terminal and type (copy-paste) the following commands:

Code: Select all

cd C:\Program Files\UsbDk Runtime Library
UsbDkController.exe -n
and then post the output?

I forgot to tell you to connect the DS4 before typing the command.
Was the DS4 connected when you typed the command?

Edit: Sorry I realized I am doing this on GIMX 4.3. Should I be doing it in 5.0?

Yes please do this after installing GIMX 5.0. Please also check that you still have the error, and post the entire GIMX output.

Did you install GIMX x86_64 or i386?
