DIY USB adapter not working

My device is working properly Will, I appreciate the method you shared with me. Matlo, my teensy is recognized as a game controller on my computer.

Another suggestion:

• try GIMX with a Ubuntu Live CD/USB

The result will tell us if the problem comes from the adapter or from your Windows setup.

Power on your PS3 before connecting the Teensy, and connect the Teensy to the PS3 before starting GIMX.

If it still doesn't work, invert the Rx and Tx cables on the CP2102 pins, and try again.

I had an identical problem as the TC, however, switching Rx & Tx cables as suggested solved the problem.
