So this means that if I want to be able to play back on my PS4, I would have to reupload firmware EMUG29PS4 again?

That's right. That is why it worth investing in at least two adapters, so you can avoid having to re-flash the same adapter with different firmwares over and over again. I've got like 6 adapters in total. 4 from Steve and 2 of the Tiao ones. They're so cheap they're worth having several in my opinion.

Hello, i have next issue: i own a g29 + shifter, but actually shifter in forza horizon 3 (PC version) only works with g920 (shifter is the same device for g29/g920) and not with g29.
We know g29 is practically equal to g920 but not exactly because g29 has a few extra buttons than g920.
So... My question would be: Is there some way to emulate g920 from g29, and with this, enable the shifter in FH3?
Thanks.

I actually was thinking the same too lol... it is better to get a couple of extra boards for different configurations. Luckily, they are cheap.
I will order a couple more.
Thanks Mate

No, but you can try the G27 PC firmware emulation.

Hi,
I just got another set of parts to build my second DIY gimx (I have the main one for the PS4). I already uploaded the G27 PC firmware to it.
So what is the difference between doing it with the PS4? Do I still need a PS4 controller connected? What profile should I use when I run the gimx software?
I just read that I will need my laptop as well, to do it.

You don't need a DS4 and you can use the same configuration.

No luck so far
Could you check my log please?
Code: Select all
global option -l with value `log.txt'
global option -c with value `LogitechDrivingForceGT_G29_W10.xml'
controller #1: option -p with value `COM4'
now reading arguments for controller #2
status flag is set
subpos flag is set
force_updates flag is set
GIMX 6.3 x86_64
Windows 10 (or later) x64
Kernel version: 10.0 (14393)
USB adapter detected, controller type is: G27 PS3.
no pass-through device is needed
Start the game with a dualshock 3, and then reassign controllers.
using default refresh period: 10.00ms
macros are not available for: joystick PS4 Controller (0)
Warning: can't open macro directory C:\Users\badbo\AppData\Roaming//gimx//macros/
Timer resolution: min=156250 max=5000 current=5008
wheel range adjusted to 200 degrees
0 1485704853.493426, wheel (-153)
0 1485704866.577523, wheel (-163)
It seems like it is working but once in the game, cursor is always moving up. So don't know if I am close to get it or not.

It looks good. Is the computer running both GIMX and the game?
