I am using two computers, my PC and my laptop. My Pc is the main one. Which is the one I use to run Gimx to aim the PS4. (and works well)
But now I am trying to aim this PC with my laptop, as I have read on this post. I think I have missed some driver to install on my laptop. But I don't know which one.
I have installed these drivers and software on my laptop.
arduino.cat
arduino.inf
and the gimx software.
I tried vice versa, My PC aiming the laptop and it seems to work fine. But my laptop won't load Forza 3 lol

Did you install the Logitech Gaming Software on the laptop?

Hello Matlo. Thank you for this work. I hope I can get up and running to enjoy it.
My goal is to combine multiple non-supported USB input devices into emulated G27, to play games like Forza Horizon 3 and Sebastien Loeb Rally.
I have TIAO adapter 2.0.
Firmware 5.8
GIMX 6.4
I'm on Windows 10.
TIAO adapter is connected directly in and out of the main PC via USB 2.0.
I have reached the point where when GIMX is started, G27 Racing Wheel is evident in the device manager.
Under Game controllers, I can open G27 and it is accepting the inputs.
All my components are recognized by GIMX config.
My problems:
1) However, Logitec Profiler cannot detect my components. Is this normal? Forza cannot recognize the components either.
2) I am not using a PS3/PS4 controller. Is this needed?
3) I can see the adapter under ports, labeled silicon labs CP210x USB to UART. Is this correct for the TIAO?
global option -l with value `log.txt'
global option -c with value `LogitechG27_G29_W10 test.xml'

@matlo,
Finally made it work. I didn't know I had to open the logitech driver on my Host PC (or where I have the game installed, duh).
Just one detail and I don't know why this happens, It doesn't always connects. It connects like random. I have to unplug and plug everything again a few times until it connects.

Does any unusual message appear in the log?

I am not at my computer now, but when it doesn't connect I get a log similar to this (that I found on another post):
Code: Select all
windows/async.c:344 async_read_timeout: ReadFile failed: timeout expired.
can't read packet header
gimx.c:208 SDL_main: no adapter detected
However, when I made it work, I notice that it was very sensitive. Like, the there was no dead zone and the car was always steering one side or the other. But the FFB was working and everything else too.
I read some comments on this thread, I think related to that. Let's see if it is similar to this situation.
Other than that, it is great. Many thanks for this support

The adapter can take up to 8s to boot when the atmega32u4 side is plugged after the CP210x side.
The same applies if both sides are plugged and the computer is powered before the target.
During this time, any request made to it will fail with a timeout.
EDIT: latest GIMX version should work around this since up to 10 connection attempts are made, with a 1-second period.

Oh I see, I think it makes sense. I will check what gimx version I have.
Thanks

Hi, I have noticed that the developers have made the PC version of the G27 driver, and I just wanted to say I have tested it and it is working for me perfectly. Thank you developers for listening to feedback from the users, I just want to say that I appreciate it very much.
