There is time 2-3 Controller modification where you can also use mouse and keyboard. Only it is a pity that one sacrifices his € 60 expensive controller. I mean, if it would not go anywhere else, I would also soldering, no problem. But with your method it feels most comfortable.
I look forward to the further development of you.
Two questions:
1) Is it possible during the connection to the PS4 to switch back to PC, without interrupting the connection to PS4.
2) you can edit the configuration during the connection? virtually on the fly?

1) You can tell GIMX not to grab the mouse using the --nograb argument, but it will still receive and process events.
2) Only the mouse calibration parameters. It is detailed on the wiki.

Dear Matlo,
again one linux n00b in need of help
I managed to pair DS4 and my BT Dongle (Bus 004 Device 002: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode) with a little help from my Teensy2.0++.
So I have my PS4&DS4 on standby mode and in my pc I type this on console: mint@Mint-T61 ~ $ gimx -t DS4 -c PS3_Battlefield3_McKack.xml -b B0:05:94:65:91:xx
Result: PS4 turns on and on console:
option -t with value `DS4'
option -c with value `PS3_Battlefield3_McKack.xml'
option -b with value `B0:05:94:65:91:xx'
Wrong controller type.
connecting with hci0 = 00:1A:7D:DA:71:13 to B0:05:94:65:91:xx psm 0x0011
can't connect to control psmCan't initialize sixaxis.
connector_init failed
So the connection is there, what to do next?
Hell, I would donate my blood (well, maybe €€€'s are better) for you if I could just play with mouse and kb with my PS4

You probably forgot to replace 'master' with 'dev' when typing the git command.

Hi, thanks for the fast response
I did that, and now with : gimx -t DS4 -c PS3_Battlefield3_McKack.xml -b B0:05:94:65:91:EC
I get this, but the PS4 doesn't start up as it did previously:
mint@Mint-T61 ~/GIMX/GIMX $ gimx -t DS4 -c PS3_Battlefield3_McKack.xml -b B0:05:94:65:91:xx
option -t with value `DS4'
option -c with value `PS3_Battlefield3_McKack.xml'
option -b with value `B0:05:94:65:91:xx'
using default refresh period: 10.00ms
Any suggestions how to proceed from there?

The next step is to start the ds4 that you paired with your dongle.

That I did, but only my pc's mouse/kb becomes less responsive, cant control ps4 with it though. If I start Gimx Bluetooth, my dongle shows there right but no info on PS3/Sixaxis lines. Go figure, maybe I have to install everything clean?

Well, I re-installed and paired again:
mint@Mint-T61 ~/GIMX $ gimx -t DS4 -c PS3_Battlefield3_McKack.xml -b B0:05:94:65:91:xx
option -t with value `DS4'
option -c with value `PS3_Battlefield3_McKack.xml'
option -b with value `B0:05:94:65:91:xx'
using default refresh period: 10.00ms
Timer fired several times...
^any idea what that means?
Still no reaction from mouse / kb

Does the ps4 turn on when you start the ds4?
