Nevest GIMX 2.01 has high ms respons time.

When serial software it gives me 10ms at respons whiles the older version gives 4ms?
And it lags, anything body else got this?

This is because the default refresh rate now matches the refresh rate of the official controller.
Some games do not handle refresh rates that are different from the one of the official controller.
If you are running Windows 8, there's a known issue that can make gimx lag.

Ok that explains it.
I use windows 7 but it just does not feel right, atleast not in BF3.
Is there a way to choose the respons time to be either 4ms or higher?

This can only be done using the command line.
Open your file explorer and navigate to where GIMX is installed. It can be either "C:\Program Files" or "C:\Program Files (x86)". Select the GIMX folder, press Ctrl+Shift, right-click on the GIMX folder, click on "Open Command Window Here".
Then type the following command:
Code: Select all
gimx -p COM12 -c config.xml --force-updates -r 4
Replace COM12 and config.xml with the values displayed in gimx-launcher.
If the refresh period in milliseconds
p is 4, the refresh frequency
f is 250Hz.
As a rule of thumb, make sure your mouse frequency is at least twice
f.
