Hi! Thank you for an amazing tool! I have wanted to use my PC flightstick on my PS3 for some time and I think I have found a solution 
Using a Raspberry PI (raspbian) with a CSR bluetooth adapter to connect. Controller is a Microsoft Sidewinder.
Connecting the Raspberry PI to the PS3 was an incredibly simple task, took no more than 10 minutes after I had finished installing the package. Had a working (but not perfect) configuration very easily.
I have had some difficulty mapping the grip-twist and throttle axis with the PS3 shoulder buttons, so I may have to ask some questions in the forum about this.
