G25 working?

Post by GIMX_NOS »

I was wondering if anyone has been able to get the Logitech G25 wheel working on PS4 as yet?

Works, requires some tinkering as there is no official configuration yet but other than that I played Driveclub with my G25 so far.

Trying to post a config for Matlo today so he can add it to the repository.

In case you need a config before its officially added, here is mine.

You need to check on which name the wheel is listed as some of the button ids seem to change.

"Logitech G25 Racing Wheel USB" Configuration (I had this one on W8.1 x64 and W7 x86)

"G25 Racing Wheel" Configuration (I had this one on W10 x64 and I believe Ubuntu had this one too)

Thanks.
I'll add specific configurations for Windows 10.

des, Can you please tell me what setup you used? Teensy 2.0 with the CP2102 and the Windows version GIMX? I cannot seem to get this to work and would greatly appreciate some guidance. Thanks.

Yes. I have the exact setup as you've described (on Win7 X86) using GIMX 5.2. When I try to use just the basic PS4 firmware (EMUPS4), just to simply map the "PS" button, when I go to "Start" the sub screen just flashes by and returns me to the initial window. I never do see the software "running" as I've seen in tutorial videos. If I do a "Check" config it says it looks good. It also says that the PS4 controller cannot be found. I've diagnosed the hardware and it is fine. It is probably something simple that I am overlooking but can't figure out. Is there any advice you could offer or do you know of any tutorial that might help? I am an "old-school" gamer and would say my knowledge of the Arduino would be at a hobbyist level but I am fairly knowledgeable with computer hardware. Again, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This looks like a wiring issue. Try to swap Rx and Tx. Some CP2102 adapters are mislabeled.
