G27->G29 DIY USB using Ubuntu

Hi guys,
I've browsed all similar problems but couldn't find an example using Ubuntu as the operating system. So here goes my issue and hope you guys can help me! Thanks in advance!
- GIMX 5.2 i386
- Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS (Trusty Tahr) - 32bit
- DIY USB CP2102 / Teensy 2++ (firmware 5.0 - EMUG29PS4 - at90usb1286.hex)
- Downloaded config LogitechG27_G29.xml
All connected to the 3 USB ports of my computer - G27, DS4 and the DIY USB between it and PS4
Seems like my computer can't "see" the DS4?
option -l with value `log.txt'
option -c with value `LogitechG27_G29.xml'
option -p with value `/dev/ttyUSB0'
status flag is set
subpos flag is set
force_updates flag is set
native mode is already enabled for HID device 02:02 (PID=c29b)
Detected USB adapter: G29 PS4.
No controller was found on USB buses.
adapter_detect failed
Cheers!

The DS4 wasn't detected. Change the USB cable, and if it doesn't help, try another USB port.

It was the cable indeed. I changed just before your reply and it has been detected. Will retry now.

Ok. It worked partially (Driveclub),
Log file shows PS button, share, X, O, etc, except pedals.
I did a log file with only PS and pedals, and the result is showed in the pastebin link below.
Is this a behavior of missing configuration? (many lines without button name)

I would like to add, that the same happened to me.
I was using Ubuntu 14 as live usb version without a permanent installation. Everything except the pedals seemed to work, at that time I didn't know if it was the live install, my usb adapter, that I only have a G25 or something else causing the issue. Wanted to get back to it later.

@Cicipso
Could you post the config on pastebin?
@des
Could you please open a thread for your issues?
It would be great to have G25 configs in the GIMX config repository!

Here it is:

I'm using the config the launcher downloaded automatically at first launch.
Hope there is something wrong with it...

I just played a bit with a DFGT on Ubuntu 14.04.03 64bit, and everything worked fine.
Did you do any calibration using jscal or jstest-gtk?
