Hello. I´ve just bought an AVR board but I don´t really know if it was the correct one.

Another question is if I have to use the Arduino Builder tool to program it.
Thanks

Hi,

The at90usb162 chip is compatible. I'm unsure the boards are working at 5V (this is a requirement).

I found some information about it on archive.org:
http://web.archive.org/web/201412170813 ... duino.com/
http://web.archive.org/web/201412170813 ... torino.pdf

The pdf explains how to load a firmware.

Thanks for your answer. I think that they work with +5v or this is what I read in the ebay link that I posted in the first post. I don´t understand if I have to follow the guide that you posted to program the board or I can use the one that is posted in this link.

Thank you.

I think this board is Teensy-compatible, which means the Teensy loader should work.

Do i have to take both the USB to ttl and the avr board plugged in at the same time to the computer for flashing the firmware or i have to program the avr first and after then build the diy adaptor?
Thank you for your help because I don,t really have much knowledge about electronics.

With Teensy-compatible boards it's possible to flash the firmware before the wiring.

I´ve mounted the diy adapter using the golduino board at90usb162 and the cp2102. I connect everything and start gimx-launcher

- GIMX 5.6 i386
- Windows 8
- Adapter: DIY USB adapter
- USB to serial adapter
- PS4
- trying to get the G27 wheel to work with PS4
-G27 wheel

In the Gimx-Launcher, when I hit 'Check', I get the message that everything is ok:

This shows in the log file when I hit 'Start':

Driver file operation error. DeviceIoControl failed (Cannot create a file when that file already exists. Error code = 183)
option -c with value `LogitechG27_G29.xml'
option -p with value `COM7'
subpos flag is set
force_updates flag is set
native mode is already enabled for HID device \\?\hid#vid_046d&pid_c29b#6&4590004&0&0000#{4d1e55b2-f16f-11cf-88cb-001111000030} (PID=c29b)
Detected USB adapter: G29 PS4.
using default refresh period: 5.00ms

The ps4 controller doesn´t turn the light on when I push the ps button and none of the buttons in the g27 works so nothing happens in the ps4 start menu.

I don´t know if it would be a problem of hardware I soldered these pins in the adaptor:
USB to ttl pin gnd to gnd in the golduino board
USB to ttl pin TXD to RXD in golduino
USB to ttl pin RXD to TXD in golduino

The "Detected USB adapter: G29 PS4." messages indicates that the wiring is right.

Did you install USBDK at the end of the GIMX setup?

I´ve just reinstalled the gimx and the usbdk and I get the same thing, nothing happens. Do the ps4 controller has to have the light on? Does it? Mine doesn´t

Someone could help me to know if the pins are soldered in the correct combination?
