Game Input MultipleXer

Hi there, I have a g25 plugged into a windows 10 PC. also a DS4 controller plugged into PC.
Gimx adapter to PS4.

I can control the menus on the PS4 with the wheel, but every game I launch says 'press X to continue' and nothing happens, even though I can see the command being sent in the logs.

I only have one PS4 controller, do I need two? (One to turn on PS4 and one for authentication for the wheel)

the GIMX software version - 5.6 64bit
the OS: Windows 7/8 32/64bits, Ubuntu 32/64bits, other Linux distro... - windows 10 64bit
the adapter
DIY USB adapter
USB to serial adapter - unknown, whatever the idiot guide told me to buy...
AVR USB board
Firmware (version + folder + file)
the console: PS3 (fat, slim, superslim...), 360, PS4, XOne - pS4
the game - need for speed
the controller: mouse/keyboard/joystick brand+model - logitech g25

Make sure to turn off the DS4 controller before connecting it to the PC.
