Hello to everyone!
I have tried GIMX with UBUNTU and bluetooth connection (on my old laptop Lenovo SL500) in order to play a first person shooter on my PS3 (Borderlands 2 btw).
Although i tried to experiment with ALL the settings of the program (GIMX), i still have a small delay (especially on aiming with the mouse), which cant give you the direct aiming of the pc gameplaying. By searching on internet forums, nobody could make it work like a pc (direct and smooth).
I read that the problem may has to do with the low mouse dpi, so i bought a Natec Genesis GX57 (4000 DPI). Things got a little better, but i still can't enjoy gaming due to the delay.
Now, i want to try the other way with the windows and the DIY usb adapter. Do you think that this delay will stop? It has to do with the bluetooth connection or it is something else?
Thank very much for your time. I really want to make it work. It would be brilliant if we can play console games with keyboard and mouse like a pc without any delays!
