Will a lower dpi reduce delay?
For example my mouse can go up to 5700dpi. But i feel a slight bit of delay.
If i use 2000dpi, will it feel much tighter?
I know i can just test this out by myself, but honestly i haven't been able to get on my ps3 for over a week.
And if someone else has any problems with delay, this might help them out.
I have a laptop with a core 2 duo running at 2.8ghz, and some of y'all are using quad cores.
Any replies are much appreciated.

I never noticed a delay with my G500, and I always run it at 5700dpi.

Must be my TV then.Matlo wrote:I never noticed a delay with my G500, and I always run it at 5700dpi.
Its a pretty old 1080i tv from like 3 years ago.
When i use it on my old tube tv, i don't feel any delay.
I guess problem solved =D
Need to get a 1-2ms delay monitor.

What's your exact tv model?
I wouldn't be surprised that your 3-year old tv has a response time over 32ms, which is 2 frames @60fps...
I recently bought a BX2231 lcd monitor (2ms) only for gaming

Be on a watch out for what kind of panel is used in any monitor/TV you may buy, and especially what amount of input lag it have which is much more important than response time (can be hard to figure out though)
And price isn't everything - I got the cheapest possible 32" inch Toshiba Regza LCD TV few months ago and it's the best TV I've ever owned. It has Game Mode on all inputs which eliminates any post-processing and unnecessary crap making it incredibly input lag-free, 1:1 pixel clarity (no bleeding/ghosting of neighboring pixels) and an even brighter and more colorful image than my 4 times more expensive Dell Ultrasharp 27" Monitor. I love playing games on this little trooper of a TV.
