see all devices but when you press start it gives an error
global option -l with value `log.txt'
global option -c with value `LogitechG25_G29.xml'
controller #1: option -p with value `COM3'
now reading arguments for controller #2
status flag is set
subpos flag is set
force_updates flag is set
GIMX 6.2 x86_64
Windows 10 (or later) x64
Kernel version: 10.0 (10240)
windows/async.c:344 async_read_timeout: ReadFile failed: timeout expired.
can't read packet header
gimx.c:208 SDL_main: no adapter detected

how can I resolve it?

Hi,
The wiring is probably wrong. Or the firmware wasn't correctly loaded.

Hello,

I have the same problem.
The DIY adapter I use is the one that I ordered at "http://www.steve-marton.com/gimx/?produ ... r-for-gimx".

This is how I connected al the cables:

This is my log file:
==============================================
global option -l with value `log.txt'
global option -c with value `LogitechDrivingForceGT_G29.xml'
controller #1: option -p with value `COM5'
now reading arguments for controller #2
status flag is set
subpos flag is set
force_updates flag is set
GIMX 6.2 x86_64
Windows 7 SP1 x64
Kernel version: 6.1 (7601)
windows/async.c:344 async_read_timeout: ReadFile failed: timeout expired.
can't read packet header
gimx.c:208 SDL_main: no adapter detected
=================================================

Does anybody have a solution for my problem?

Thanks!

It looks like you crossed the TX/RX wires. With that usb board, you should keep the wires straight in the same order on both the usb board and arduino board. I'm sorry I didn't have an up to date product image. You would've been right the cross the wires with the old usb board. But I just updated the product image. You can match that: http://www.steve-marton.com/gimx/?produ ... r-for-gimx

In general, if you get this message with any adapter, the first thing to try is to reverse the TX/RX wires on one end.
