I keep getting the same message: No Dualshock 4 detected on USB ports. I have been using it fine the past two days, but now the software does not recognize the controller though it is in the device manager.

This is the log file

global option -l with value `log.txt'
global option -c with value `LogitechDrivingForceGT_G29.xml'
controller #1: option -p with value `COM6'
now reading arguments for controller #2
grab flag is unset
status flag is set
subpos flag is set
force_updates flag is set
GIMX 6.11 x86_64
Windows 10 (or later) x64
Kernel version: 10.0 (16299)
USB adapter detected, controller type is: G29 PS4.
No controller was found on USB buses.

Did you install some software that mimicks DS4 into xInput controller like SCP software or sth like that? It could be cause of this issue.

Also make sure you connect turned off controller.

@Playstationuser

Either you forgot to plug a (turned off) DS4 to your computer, or the USB cable is bad (check in the device manager).

@Godlike

When GIMX starts the USBDK driver takes ownership of the controller, and as a result Windows unloads the default driver. Which means it does not matter which driver is the default one.

I checked it on my desktop and GIMX was working, so I restarted the laptop and had to reinstall GIMX 3 times, but now it's working. Thank you.
