Hi everyone
I am trying to get GIMX to work on my Xbox One. It already works fine for my PS4.
So I have the official adapter, loaded the XONE firmware, used a very simple config just for the direction keys and whenever I start it says press guide button to continue.
So I press the guide button on the xbox one controller, i even keep it held down, but nothing happens, none of my commands are sent to the xbox.
Anyone experienced this before?
My controller is the right one, without a 3.5mm jack and surely I am just doing something wrong as I couldn't find a thread that mimicks the exact behaviour.
THanks in advance!
[XBOX ONE] GIMX exited but guide button was never activated.

You did make sure that controller was turned on before plugging it into the pc correct?

Yes i even tried it with it being turned off.
Latest firmware on xbox, controller and gimx.
It seems it’s losing its pairing the moment i plug it into my win10 or win7 machine :/

Hi,
Please post a log file as requested in forum rules: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=691
You actually have to press the button that is assigned to guide in your config.

Hi Matlo
Apologies about missing that!
Here it is:

I did try that too and still nothing happens on the Xbox One. My PlayStation 4 works perfectly though and yes I have installed the right firmware for the Xbox One on the GIMX adapter.
Also thank you for shipping the adapters, really saved me a lot of trouble

Hmmm I think it may be connected to this issue. Please check the reply here and tell us if it worked - viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2521&start=30#p14138

Unfortunately this did not help either, the workaround described in that thread was the first thing I tried.
Am I missing something really obvious maybe?
Latest Xbox firmware and controller firmware are not an issue, right?

Shouldn't be. Can you try on GIMX 6.9?

Tried with 6.9 too and still the same :/

I did some tests and it turns out my instructions were wrong.
Try pressing the Xbox controller guide button for 1 second. It should blink briefly and after that it should work.
