Game Input MultipleXer

Hello everyone

Am really sorry if this was asked before its just i couldn't find a clear information regarding my issue .

First of all i want to thank the creators of GIMX of making the idea of one steering wheel on different consoles a possibility.
I need your help cause i am a total noob when it comes to arduino. this is my very first project and i want to make a GIMX adaptor.

So long story short i live in a 3rd world country and our central bank does not allow buying goods online outside the country so am trying to make GIMX adaptor to use a G920 on PS4 (GTsport), PS3 (GT6) and PS2 (GT4).

i searched online for an arduino leaonardo and i found this in a local online store :

My question is are those the right components needed for this project ?
if yes how to proceed? is there any tutorial?

I think i can help you a little.
This arduino is probably what most of us use https://www.price.tn/product/arduino-pr ... 3-3v-q99xy It cost less than the one you linked.

The UART you need is an - CP2104 USB-TTL UART.
CP2102 does work, but as i have read somewhere here is that it´s slower than the CP2104. (dont take my word for it though)

is this the right one ? does it need soldering to Arduino PRO Micro ATmega32U4 ?

It should be soldered for a good connection. You can test it using wires though but it may not work properly.

Now even with those right components i need to solder them, something i never done before

There is both the atmega32u4 board and the uart cp2104 micro controller.

It´s not as hard as it looks.

3 thin wires needs to be soldered between both boards.
GND - GND
TX - RX
RX - TX

Just use a small tip solder iron, and a steady hand.
when that is done the hard part is done
