GT Sport on PS5

Does the GIMX adapter work for PS5 when playing GT Sport or does it disconnect after a set period of time due to DS5?

It works if you connect DualShock 4. As GT Sport is PS4 game it should work fine.

I just tried this and it disconnects after 6 minutes does the PS4 controller need to be connected to the PS4, PC or both?

To PC only. Adapter will then pass authentication signal to PS5.

I've just tried this with two different official DS4 controllers and everytime it stops working after 6 minutes

Quick update just tried this on my PS4 and no issues, so appears this doesn't work with PS4 games on PS5?

Sadly PS5 is not supported yet. Some use cases may work, but support is not official. The wheel use cases are not working.
