I would have help you but that game is hard to get by here in Sweden.
Found this on xim forum page, but it was for xim 1 which is really really old.
Circular deadzone = 20
x/y = 2.5
TE = .37
Primary = 13
Smoothness = 0

My ingame sensitivity is all the way up acceleration is about 3/4 up and deadzone I believe is under a 1/4 way up. Use this config and play
Xim and gimx is not the same so values can differ alot.
I would try.
Dead zone 20.
Shape - circle.
x/y to 2.5. - if vertical and horizontal movements are the same you should be able to make circular movements. If not try increase dead zone.
This can be on both profile or the profiles can have differrent values on x/y.
Acceleration value should be some where around 0.35-0.75 (needs testning from you)
Sensitivity in gimx to what ever feels best to you. I would start at 5.00 and increase/decrease.
Sorry i can't help you more.

Thank you so much for taking the time to keep making config requests. It seems that when sliding right and left its extremely fast but when looking up and down its not as fast. Do you think its an issue with the x/y ratio?

ALso there are other ways of getting the game *cough cough * ;)

I dont know if this is the case but is there dead zone adjustments in the game? if so try to set it to 0 or 1 and adjust dead zone with gimx.
also x and y sensitivity in game menu to max.
if left and right feels aot faster then up and down then increase the x/y ratio while in calibration mode. (makes it easier to find the correct x/y in calibration mode.)

I get two names for the socom 4 game.
SOCOM 4 US Navy Seals
Also known as Socom Special Forces

I think special forces is the EU name for the game. its for sale at around 5-6 euros
Gonna see if the prices changes.

Theres no deadzone options in the game. I will try out calibration mode when i get the time. I found when i crank up the sensitively of the ingame menu the aim when a bit haze it would only allow me to direct my aim like a tetris step

The game is soo fun and challenging. I highly recommend buying it (it wont let you play without an original ps3 controller)

I have couple of games next week to buy, i'll see if socom will be on that list 😉.
By the way i sent you a PM if you would like to try a config for killzone 2.
Please try it and give your opinion how it feels.
