Test tx to rx and rx to tx between the microcontroller and uart.
If that does not work rx to rx and tx to tx.
Looking at the switch option you need to switch the black switch to left position and 1/2 switch to lower position as it is shown on picture 4

If I was able to load the hex file with GIMX-LOADER, is it because it recognizes the adapter that I made?
