Just don't update the controller in Xbox accessories app and you are good to go.

We're working on it. No ETA though. If Microsoft stops changing protocol then it will be faster.

I have just built a DIY adapter and tried with XBOX one controller w/o Bluetooth support.
However, I cannot make this working with Xbox Series X console.

My GIMX found XBOX ONE controller and urged me to press guide button. I tried to push key assigned to guide button and also guide button of the XBOX controller. But nothing happened after that in both cases.

GIMX version: 8.0
OS: WIN10 21H2 and Ubuntu 20.04 (tried with both environment)
Controller : Model 1537, FW 1.1.400.6, without 3.5mm jack and Bluetooth support. used one.
Console: Xbox Series X

I also tried to reconfigure the adapter with PS4 FW. In this case the adapter works flawlessly with DS4 controller and PS5 console.
So I think that no problem in wiring or cable.

Is this version of FW(1.1.400.6) is supported? But It seems enough old, I suppose.

You need to push and hold guide button on Xbox Controller for a couple of seconds. Guide button bind to keyboard won't do the trick. Try that.
