Hello, i've been trying to connect my gimx adapter to PS4. It works with PS3, but does not work with PS4. I changed the firmware, changed the button layout, PS just does not recognize the device. Any solutions what i might be doing wrong?

It is recognized but you have to press the PS assigned button on the steering wheel.

I think you have to choose the EMUG29PS4 firmware.

I do press it, but nothing happens on PS4 side. I did install G29 firmware to my DIY Gimx adapter.

Did you start the PS4 with the power button or PS button on controller?

I did start it with button, not controller. If I plug gimx adapter side back to pc, pc detects it as G29 wheel. Some buttons do not work, axis do not work as well. PS4 DS4 controller is plugged in to pc.

Tried everything, different firmware, different adapters, different computers, still the same, console does not recognize my PS button on wheel. On PS3 everything works just fine, but on PS4 i cant even go through menu.

Found this on a forum but if nothing does anything work in PS menu then this might not work.

(For most games, you need to go into Options and somewhere in there will be an option to select the Input Device. Change it from the controller to the wheel. Sounds like you still have the input device set as the controller.

To be clear, you will need to boot up the game you want to play first. Need to do this on a per-game basis.)

I hope you get it solved. According to gimx your device is recognized when looking at your log.
