Troubleshooting Adapter Detection on a Single Computer

It appears that your racing setup may be experience a driver or USB port issue. Consider plugging the adapter into different USB ports to rule out port-specific issues. Make sure the CP2102 driver is installed properly and review your USB power management settings to ensure the device does not automatically shut down. If you have access to another computer, try reflashing the adapter firmware on a working device. Alternatively, launch the GIMX software as administrator to see if this resolves the detection issue?
