Compatible games?

Hello,
I've been playing around with the USB-adapter and GIMX and got it working
(I still need to start GIMX first, then power up the PS3, to get it working)
Here's my next problem: I'm starting Grand Turismo 5,
I can use GIMX to go through all the menu's, everything is fine.
I start a race and.... nothing. Only button that responds is the start button.
X is supposed to be throttle, but nothing happens.
If I unplug, and plug in a sixaxis the game responds ok.
If I go back to the menu's I can use GIMX again.
I'm planning on digging into the teensy firmware tomorrow to try if I can see if the game is issuing some class command silencing the adapter,
or asking it for a different report or configuration...
Does anyone know if the PS3 controllers have more than one 'mode'? ie a mode where it sends a different report than the 64 bit one?
Just guessing, in the dark here. If the controller works, shouldn't it keep working for all games?
