Ubuntu bluetooth problem (libusb 99)

Hello,
I wanted to try this software and I have a BT dongle but i'm facing some problems.
I don't know if my dongle is compatible but Windows install it as "Cambridge Silicon Radio adapter".
First, I know that versions in Virtual PC's are not supported but I wanted to try this way just to see how it goes.
My bluetooh isn't being recognized by Ubuntu 11.10.
The lsusb returns me the message "unable to initialize libusb: -99"
Can please someone tell me if the reason of this is being installed on a virtual machine?
The other usb devices connected are the mouse and keyboard.
I apreciate some help since i'm very new with Linux...
