PS3 Remote

Any ideas on whether the bdaddr of an official PS3 blu-ray remote can be used? And how you would go about getting hold of the bdaddr for the remote?
It's easy to get the bdaddr of the PS3 remote because it can be paired with a PC.
To emulate a PS3 remote, you need to reverse engineer its protocol, which is probably not the same as the sixaxis protocol.
