xbox 360 guitar controller on ps3 possible?

Is it possible to use an xbox usb guitar with the ps3 using gimx? I've managed to get my normal 360 controller working via bluetooth and linux mint, but im not sure how to go about setting up the guitar controller. Any help gratefully recieved.
