Is this bluetooth dongle supported by G.I.M.X?

I have been looking for a bluetooth dongle which is compatible with G.I.M.X. I found the Cliptec v2.1 EDR RzB737 bluetooth dongle. It is not listed in the wiki. Is it compatible? Is there a better way of knowing whether a bluetooth dongle is compatible with G.I.M.X. without having to buy and test it in the application?

Hi,

I suggest you a BTA-401 or a BTA-402 dongle from Orico. They feature a CSR8510 chip which is the newest BT 4.0 chip from CSR.
You can get one from ebay: http://www.ebay.com/dsc/i.html?_sop=15& ... &_osacat=0

Since it will take sometime for my package to arrive, I bought the Cliptec dongle from a local shop just to pass the time. It is compatible with G.I.M.X. However, it has a CSR Bluecore3-rom chip.

A few people had latency issues with bluecore3-rom dongles.

I also experienced some latency when I used it. I'll just wait for the one I ordered then.
