Hi everybody.
I watched a few vids about Gimx and read the tuto pages, but i've got a few question.
Does the Gimx system/adapter work as bridge only by being costantly connected to the pc with the custom controller and the original one or does the .xml files flashed in the arduino crereate a new controller/adapter that can be used without the pc?
I make custom arcade sticks, so I'm interested in creating a kind of custom pcb for ps4 (and hopefully ps5)
Have a nice day.
Hi, I've got a question...
Re: Hi, I've got a question...
I don't own a ps4 but i think i have read from people here that the official PS4 controller has to be connected to "trick" the ps4 that the official controller is the one used.
Should work with any controller as long as ps4 controller is connected at all times.

Gimx presents itself to the console as the device you want to emulate. It also works as a bridge in case authentication signal from controller is needed.
