Would this work: USB to Serial (TTL) conv. FT232R

Hi,

This thread says converters with a FT232R should work so I found these two items:

They should work right?

They are a little bit more expensive than the ebay things from china but shipping would only take 2-3 days :)
Or does anybody know online shops in austria/germany/europe that sell compatible converters?
