[PS4] - ReadFile failed: timeout expired

Hi,

I had a GimX a while ago on PS3 and it worked great !
I now want to use it on my PS4 but somehow things aren't working now.
Here's the log I get :

option -l with value `log.txt'
option -c with value `PS4_Battlefield4_foxy.xml'
option -p with value `COM3'
status flag is set
subpos flag is set
force_updates flag is set
ReadFile failed: timeout expired.
can't read packet header
No controller detected.
adapter_detect failed

What I did :
- Installed the latest GimX version on my computer
- Plugged the adapter to both PC and console
- Plugged the DS4 to the computer
- Opened GimX Launcher and selected a config
- Start

When I click on "Check" it says :
Joystick not found: PS4 controller (0)

Any idea ?

Hi,

I think you forgot to update the adapter firmware.
You also have to connect a DS4 to the PC while GIMX is running. This is required for authentication purposes.

That's the thing though, the DS4 is connected to the PC.
I downloaded the firmware 5.0 .zip package. How should I proceed ?

If you have a Teensy you have to use the Teensy loader.

I encounter yet another difficulty : the tensy loader doesn't allow me to program. When I press the button on the tensy, nothing happens. The LED doesn't turn off or blink.
Only thing I can do is load a file (but it's pointless since I can't click "program") and go into "automatic mode" but this doesn't change anything either.

Did you connect the Teensy to the PC? It can't be flashed through the serial adapter!

The Tensy is updated now and when I run GIMX I don't have any error message (btw, sorry I'm that dumb!).
So now all I have to do is select whichever ps4 config I want, load it, click start and have the DS4 controller connected to the PC right ?

EDIT, that is what I did and :
Clicked check : joystick not found: PS4 Controller (0)
A device name is empty. Multiple mice and keyboards are not managed.

You have to press the PS button, just as you would do with a Dualshock 4 connected to a PS4.
