Shield controller? You mean Steam Controller I guess. I haven't played any game yet.
I have access to the raw input reports.
I haven't noticed any dead zone at this level.
And I can get much more information than with the mouse/keyboard/joystick interfaces.
For example I can tell if the user is using the left stick or the left pad.

Hi,
I started working on native steam controller support in GIMX.
The controller will be detected as a joystick and all controls should work, except motion sensing that I may add later.
The left stick and the left pad will be distinct axes and buttons.
