Interesting, I did not noticed these options until now.
I'm unsure what the "Latency timer" is made for.

Mine, has default setting at 16msec for the latency. The others parameters are the same as in the picture.

I didn't notice any lag while run on project cars.

I really don't know what the issue with my CP2102 is, it did work fine and I'm quite certain the hardware did not get damaged. Would give it a try...
Fennec, My friend, you are the winner!!! It was the fucking Cp2102!! Just tried driveclub and it work!!!

Now I'm busy but tonight i'll try Pcars.

@Matlo, Thank you for the support, really appreciated!
That's cool!

I used the FTR for a while, does work fine. I got the CP2102 working again as well though. I reinstalled the driver and used the current one from silabs, which is newer than the one that comes with gimx. Now it does work again. In the process I experienced a few things that I find quite surprising. For example once it showed me in the command window that it is working, but I could not start the wheel, and after a restart of the PS4 it worked.

One hint for the FTR: I had the problem that in Project Cars with a few cars (apparently depending on the car configuration, one example is the Ginetta GT4) the wheel was kicking back and forth close to the deadzone. It did work after I reduced the FF option "Deadzone Removal Falloff" to 0.0. I don't even know exactly what this option is for, but somehow it does not work well with the FTR232 - at least it did not with my setup, while it is fine with the CP2102 (just tested it again). Matlo, do you have any idea what the reason could be?

Other than that this is just a great tool. Yes, it does require some work, but Matlo did a great job. The steering is precise and the FF does feel exactly as it should. Thank you Matlo!

Hi Fennec,

The latest CP210x driver (11/20/2015,6.7.2.200) is provided with GIMX 5.7.
To quickly update click on Help>Update in gimx-launcher.
