GIMX won't work

Post by MojoMadness »

I tried to connect my G27 to my PS4 with my self-made teensy adapter.

So far I've tackled some issues.

For instance I edited the xml file to match the "G27 Racing Wheel".

Yet it still does not seem to be able to connect.

The following log is presented:

option -l with value `log.txt'
option -c with value `LogitechG27_G29.xml'
option -p with value `COM4'
status flag is set
subpos flag is set
force_updates flag is set
GIMX 5.7 x86_64
Windows 7 SP1 x64
Kernel version: 6.1 (7601)
native mode is already enabled for HID device \\?\hid#vid_046d&pid_c29b#8&24ca314&0&0000#{4d1e55b2-f16f-11cf-88cb-001111000030} (PID=c29b)
ReadFile failed: timeout expired.
can't read packet header
No controller detected.
adapter_detect failed

Windows 7
USB 3 ports

Thanks in advance,

Please help :)

I've tried it on a 32 bit pc with USB 2.0 ports still the same error.

Maybe some pictures can clarify things

I did not solder, is this a problem?

Yes, soldering GND, D2 and D3 is required.
