I have purchased a Silicon Labs CP2102 and a Teensy 2.0

It seems to work

But what about optimal settings to have the best refresh rate?

Should the baud rate be faster?

On the Teensy 2.0 you cannot change anything other than flash the firmware.

I can only change this:

There is no need to change any parameter for the CP210x adapters.
GIMX changes the baudrate, it currently works at 500000bps.
