PS4 no response (USB DIY Adapter)

Im having Trouble getting the ps4 to respond to my keyboard or anything. i have managed to connect it via gimx launcher and it seems to be working. the button configuration had been set so that tab is the ps button. but when i run it, and push the button there is no response on the ps4.

I have checked nearly every youtube and Gimx forum..
Im running:
Teensy ++2.0
CP2102 (switch can be set to 3v3\5V) 0n 3v3 now not sure what the teensy uses for information
Windows 10
downloaded all drivers and inputted correct teensy specifications.

when i run GIMX launcher i get:
Cant Check Version (select OK)
Gimx Run launcher select Start (all options are correct when button is pushed)

CMD opens and displays:
. global option -c with value 'codTest.xml'
. controller #1: option - p with value 'com4'
. now reading arguements for controller #2
. subpos flag is set
. force_updates flag is set
. detected USB adapter: DS4
. using default refresh period: 10.00ms

(which i think is correct because it disables mouse and doesnt bring up the log file. but for some reason when i select the ps button equivalent on the keyboard nothing happens on the playstation.

Please if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
