Could I use mouse and the controller simultaneously when playing battlefield 1

Because using the controller to drive a plane is much easy than using a mouse.

Of course you can. You can use your ds4 which is connecting to pc for binding keys, no more ds4 required

Yes but you need to modify official config and assign sticks to the DS4 analogs. We removed them from official config because some poeple may have broken analogs which would constantly send signals and result in unpredictable mouse movement. Just use gimx-config to add them in axis tab again.

I recommend using an additional profile, to make sure sticks won't interfere with aiming.
